I keep my glaze palette toward earth tones, or the sea, or sky. The everyday in clay inspires me. Food grown in the garden or from the farmer’s market, placed in a hand-made bowl, plate or platter.

I’m honored to be part of a family’s home and woven into their memories. “We used your bowls every morning for breakfast” I am told by a young man I watched growing up and now going off to college. To be part of a family and their memories with my work, this humbles me and gives me great pleasure.
